I know you hear from me when there’s a problem, but here’s an instance where I thought I ought to pass along a “no-problem” situation. Chuck Schroeder, the Executive Director of the Cowboy Museum, told me Saturday night that he was very impressed with your staff’s handling of the teleprompter chores for the Prix de West Awards ceremony and art auction. He said that even though he threw Darren several curve balls by going off-script during his segments of the evening’s program, your staff never missed a beat in following him back on to the script flow. After last year’s unfortunate incident, Chuck wanted everybody involved to know that he was especially happy with this year’s handling of the prompter. I know that he conveyed all of this to your staff, as well, but I just wanted you to know that they did a great job. Please feel free to forward this to Joe on their behalf. Thanks to you and all of your guys for all that you do for us!
