Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM)

By allowing the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management to view input feeds from citywide traffic cameras, local and national cable TV, and international satellite TV sources, this complex AV system assists in providing the most accurate information during times of emergency.  The new monitor system in place now allows OEM to simply and easily display pertinent information on screen. This upgrade also provided additional monitors in the governor’s secure room, the media room, and the liaison room. Having the best technology for emergency response shortens the amount of time needed to respond to disasters and enables first responders to reach those in need in a timelier manner.

"The new monitoring and control systems help us give Oklahomans the best services and response time during emergencies. These improvements provide OEM better imaging and easier, more intuitive signal routing when monitoring potential crisis situations."
~ Putnam Reiter, EOC Manager
