Ardmore Convention Center

Cory’s Audio Visual Services recently provided the Ardmore Convention Center with a high-quality sound system with individual room control. The Ardmore Convention Center, located at 2401 N Rockford Rd in Ardmore, Okla., implemented the changes in its existing audio system.

“We have had a long and successful relationship with Cory’s Audio Visual Services and knew they would provide us with excellent service and technology,” said Angel Mitchell, director of operations for the Ardmore Convention Center. “After our audio system continued to give us problems, we knew who to turn to.”

Cory's Audio Visual’s updates included adding a new power amplification to the existing speaker system as well as a digital audio routing and control system to allow audio to be controlled directly within the meeting spaces.

“The existing system had bad static interference and audio dropouts, causing it to be unusable as an effective meeting space,” said Chris Stephens, integration division manager at Cory’s Audio Visual Services. “Additionally, there was no way to adjust volume from within each room.  All adjustments had to be done from the control room, making it difficult to settle in on the proper volume for any given event. We were able to provide them with a solution that eased their pain points.”

These updates will ensure that event technicians and the end users will be in direct control of the room’s audio, providing a great convention-going experience for future attendees.
